To curate unique artistic experiences in order to bring all people together in an environment that enlightens and enhances perspectives.
We are inspired by the art that the world has to offer and we use a variety of mediums to present new ideas, new perspectives, and new opportunities. Through creating art shows, concerts, and creative experiences, we strive to demonstrate the true value of art.
ABOUT THE SHOWS:
Synesthesia is an interactive art show that combines the visual arts and music. We wanted to create a “synesthetic” experience for our artists and viewers by inspiring the artist’s creation process with music. Each show contains a unique playlist curated by Ella Ballstaedt. She then assigns a song to an artist and asks them to create a work of art inspired by that song. When viewers come to the show they will be able to download the playlist at the door and walk through the exhibit listening to the music that inspired the artwork that they are looking at.
Each work of art will be labeled with the song that inspired the artist. The artists consistently take different approaches to the way they study the music and the approach they take in creating their artwork. It is a beautiful experience that engages the artists and viewers who come through the show. Come experience Synesthesia and don’t forget to BRING YOUR OWN HEADPHONES!
