Words from the artist:

“Talking about eternal truths, I wanted to capture someone doing something they love. I feel like as we do things in our life that we are truly passionate about, we feel more connected and in tune with the divine. It can be something big or small, but it doesn’t matter, as long as we feel that passion. I instantly thought of Calder Cutri. He is the little brother of some friends of mine. I’ve only met him a few times but each time I have met him he is either playing soccer or talking about how much he loves it. His passion for soccer inspires me to seek out my passions and be grateful for the gifts God has given me. I also wanted to capture the relationship between him and his brother Atticus Cutri. I wanted to capture them simply having a good time while playing soccer and just being brothers.

Lyrics:

‘When they start to understand that, they are valuable

And they not valuable because they got a whole lot of money

Or 'cause somebody, think they sexy

But they valuable 'cause they been created by God

And God, makes you valuable’

I also gained inspiration from these words from Mos Def. As God gave us inherent value when he created us, we give inherent value to our passions. No one else has to tell us they are valuable. We don’t have to follow what other people are passionate about. We give value to whatever we want in our lives just as God gave us value.”
